Visiting Nurse Service started as a nonprofit agency in 1947 to help others in
need of skilled care to be able to remain at home--where they want to be. Since
then, VNS has grown to become a national home health industry leader. Our
affiliate organizations and products include:
Visiting Nurse Service and Affiliates is headquartered in Akron, Ohio. Community
offices are located in Medina, Portage, Stark, and Summit counties. These
offices also provide care in neighboring counties. With one phone call to VNS
and Affiliates, you can arrange all the home health care you may need.
Skilled home health care by VNS is specialized care provided in the comfort of
the patient's own home by professionals such as:
- Registered and Licensed Practical Nurses
- Physical, Occupational, Speech and Language Therapists
- Home Health Aides
- Licensed Social Workers
- Home-based patient telemonitoring program
Visiting Nurse Service can:
