NURSING OPPORTUNITES
Nurse Practitioner – Full Time - This position reports to the Vice
President of Hospice and Palliative Care and is responsible for consultation for
palliative care in patient homes and nursing facilities. Other responsibilities
include working as a nurse practitioner under contract services with the
palliative care physician group. Qualified candidates must possess a masters
degree in nursing and be currently registered in the State of Ohio. Current
certificate of authority and prescriptive authority required. The successful
candidate will have past experience in Hospice/Palliative Care or oncology.
Hospice Community Liaison Nurse – Full Time - Responsible for the
development of end-of-life education programs and services for physicians,
health care professionals and the community. Must be a Registered Nurse
currently licensed in the State of Ohio. Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
Familiarity with Hospice and Palliative Care service. Demonstrates communication
and education, and public speaking skills. Possess high energy level and
self-confidence in informing the medical community about Hospice services.
Flexibility in hours of work to include some evenings and weekend commitments.
Ability to independently organize activities and work with minimal supervision
required.

Will provide personal care to patients in their homes. Must be a current
STNA in good standing and have current work experience as a STNA or be a
certified/experienced home health and pass our VNS Skills Testing. Must have a
valid driver’s license, car insurance, and less than six (6) points on driver’s
license and pass the Ohio State/FBI criminal background check.
