Brick Memory Walk Secured Online Donation Form
At the Justin T. Rogers Care Center, there are a variety of unique opportunities
for permanent recognition of loved ones, friends, and organizations. The Justin T. Rogers Care Center is situated on 16 wooded acres in Copley Township.
It has many courtyards, gardens, trees, a pond and a creek which provide a serene
setting and an environment of peace and tranquility. Many of these special amenities
honor the memory of loved ones or pay special tribute to the achievements of people
and organizations.
A special feature on the grounds of the Justin T. Rogers Care Center is the
brick memory walk(secured
online form). A brick path extends from the Care Center and winds down to the pond,
past the Gardens of the Senses and Peace Creek. With the continual development of
the Care Center grounds, the walk will extend to other areas. The memory walk is
available to all who wish to find peace and hope reflected in the beauty of nature.
The walk is wide enough for patients in wheelchairs to travel along the pathways
so that they too can enjoy the gardens and grounds for meditation, prayer, and solitude.
Continuing the Hospice spirit of caring, the memory walk features inscribed bricks
donated as memorials in memory of loved ones or as gifts in honor of special events
or people still living.
There is also a special brick memory walkway in the Veteran’s
Remembrance Garden
which was created to honor all U. S. war veterans. The garden includes a brick
memory walkway with planting beds surrounding a flagpole. Veterans living and
dead can be memorialized in this garden.
The donation for each engraved brick is $275. Engraved bricks may be ordered at
any time throughout the year. A dedication ceremony is held for family and
friends to visit and view the new additions to the memory walk every year.
