VNSA Selected As the Preferred Provider for Home Care Services for Sumner on Ridgewood
Visiting Nurse Service and Affiliates (VNSA) has been selected by Sumner on Ridgewood
to be its preferred provider for home care services, effective October 1, 2007.
Sumner on Ridgewood is a non-profit, non-denominational senior living community
offering a full continuum of care and is located at 970 Sumner Parkway, off Ridgewood
Road in Copley.
VNSA, in its 60th year of offering care, was selected by Sumner based on reputation
for quality service and longevity in the community. VNSA will offer all of its service
lines to Sumner on Ridgewood, including skilled nursing care, medical equipment
and supplies, personal care services, hospice and palliative care, and infusion
therapies. Under a preferred provider agreement, patients still have a choice of
providers,
but Sumner will be recommending VNSA to their residents and others.

Sumner had previously operated a skilled intermittent home care program and a private
duty program, which have been discontinued.
