    Peace Together Choir CDs

The Peace Together Choir is an interfaith choir whose mission is to perform and record meaningful music to bring hope and peace to their listeners. The choir is a non-profit organization and donates proceeds from CD sales to charitable groups, including Hospice of the Visiting Nurse Service.

The newest CD, “Be Still My Soul... Reflections of Peace and Hope,” includes a variety of inspiring lyrics, enhanced by many talented voices and instrumentalists. Many of the songs have been enjoyed by visitors who attended Hospice of VNS memorial services, and includes the choir’s favorite renditions of “You Raise Me Up” and “Be Still My Soul” (a beautiful version of The Lord’s Prayer), and even an uplifting country favorite by Garth Brooks, “The River.”

"Trust in the Lord: Music of Faith, Hope and Peace," touches on the themes of faith, forgiveness, and God's promise of eternal life. The CD collection includes 17 beautiful arrangements of new and traditional songs, featuring several inspiring performances by area soloists, and musical interpretations by director John Buckenberger. The recording was prepared by engineers from the Chicago Recording Company, and features musical enhancements by flute, harp, violin, cello, guitar, clarinet, saxophone and percussion.

"Hope in the Night: Hymns of Inspiration and Comfort" is a very peaceful collection of familiar and beloved hymns that are comforting to those in troubled times as well as those who just want to relax or pray. It was created by a team of musicians, including hospice nurses, chaplains, funeral directors, who wanted to have a beautiful CD that would be meaningful to people of many different faiths.

"Gift of Hope: a Christmas journey" is a collection of spiritual Christmas music, with unique arrangements and beautiful voices.
